About the position

The Part Time Sales Leader at Knitwell Group is responsible for leading store activities that enhance associate and client engagement while achieving financial and operational goals. This role involves acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture. The Sales Leader will also support talent management, client service, and merchandise presentation, all while embodying the company's leadership principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead activities to achieve store goals including financial objectives and client service.
  • Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another Manager.
  • Support the onboarding experience for associates and assist in their development.
  • Encourage continuous growth and celebrate positive performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Represent Lane Bryant by adhering to 'Dress Your Best' guidelines and articulating current trends.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Drive operational excellence and manage controllable expenses.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and maintain store presentation.
  • Foster a culture that embraces diversity and transparency.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • 6 months specialty retail experience preferred.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Technology proficient with strong business acumen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; other languages desirable.

  • Experience in a leadership role within retail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
