About the position

The Part-Time Sales Teammate at Buckle is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. This role involves engaging with guests, assisting them with their shopping needs, and performing various operational tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Sales Teammates are expected to build relationships with customers, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture while achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest's needs by suggesting additional items.
• Demonstrate product utilizing product knowledge and sales education.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise and check out purchases.
• Fill out and effectively use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily.
• Maintain good Guest relationships to develop a client-based business.
• Present merchandise in a manner that maximizes sales and achieves optimum merchandise turn.
• Open and close cash registers and perform cash handling tasks.
• Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines and recognize security risks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• No prior experience or training required.
