This position will be responsible for managing large amounts of data to ensure accuracy for organizational use, specifically for fundraising and marketing purposes. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Salesforce data management within the non-profit sector. The role encompasses a variety of duties including data mining, verifying entered client account information, monitoring data quality for accuracy, and running reports for basic analysis. Key responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of Salesforce, which involves user management, configuration, customization, and maintenance of the platform. The candidate will implement and manage Salesforce best practices to ensure the platform is optimized for the organization's business needs. Collaboration with various departments is essential to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications within Salesforce. The position also requires providing technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity, including managing data migrations and deduplication processes. In terms of data analysis, the candidate will analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. They will develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and track business goals through data-driven analysis. The role also involves utilizing data analysis to support strategic planning, sales optimization, and customer relationship management initiatives. Project management is another critical aspect of this position. The candidate will lead and manage technical projects related to Salesforce and data analysis, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce non-profit management and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, including ETL processes.
  • Experience in project management with a proven track record of leading technical projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Data Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Development experience is beneficial.
