About the position

As a Part-Time Sales Representative for Sutton Pierce, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services to existing and prospective customers within the legal field. This position requires a proactive approach to establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships. You will be responsible for reaching out to customer leads through various methods, including cold calling and in-person visits, to generate new business opportunities. Your ability to expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints will be essential in maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, you will be expected to achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within a specified schedule. Coordination with team members and other departments will be necessary to ensure a cohesive sales effort. You will analyze the territory and market potential, track sales progress, and provide management with insightful reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Staying updated on best practices and promotional trends will be vital for your continuous improvement and success in this position. This part-time role offers flexibility with a pay rate of $35 per hour, and you will be expected to work a 4-hour shift from Monday to Friday. You will need to possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car, as the position involves traveling to meet clients and prospects in the San Francisco and East Bay areas.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent.
  • Must possess a car and a valid CA driver's license.
  • Must own professional business attire and a working laptop with internet access.
