About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-Time Security Officer to join our team in Pueblo West, CO. The role involves enforcing rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service, managing conflicts, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. This position requires an armed security license and offers flexible scheduling on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on-site.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Armed Security License through the city of Pueblo or an Armed Security Certificate to obtain the Armed license.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
