About the position

The Social Media Content Creator will play a vital role in enhancing the online presence of two small family-owned businesses—a restaurant and a spa. This part-time position focuses on creating engaging content primarily for Instagram and TikTok, reflecting the unique personality and values of each business. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, and passionate about food, wellness, and community connection.

Responsibilities

• Develop a social media content calendar for each business (approx. 3-4 posts per week per account).
• Create, edit, and post photo and video content tailored to Instagram and TikTok.
• Showcase the unique qualities of each business, including food dishes, behind-the-scenes moments, client testimonials, and spa services.
• Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) and respond to comments and messages in a friendly, timely manner.
• Stay current with social media trends and suggest creative strategies to increase visibility and engagement.

Requirements

• Experience in creating social media content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong photo and video creation and editing skills.
