About the position

Our client is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join their New York team on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in assisting the Brand Marketing Manager in executing both National and Local marketing campaigns, as well as addressing day-to-day needs and ad-hoc projects. The Social Media Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing and Creative teams to develop content and strategies for organic social channels, ensuring that the brand's voice and message are consistently represented across platforms. Daily responsibilities will include monitoring all social media handles for community engagement, scheduling and posting content across Instagram and TikTok according to a monthly calendar, and tracking organic performance on a monthly basis. The coordinator will be expected to make informed recommendations based on performance data and report findings to cross-functional teams. Additionally, the role involves presenting new creative content themes, product features, and process updates to optimize social media channels. The Social Media Coordinator will also support influencer and creator efforts at both the micro and macro levels, working across various affiliate networks such as LTK and ShopMy. This includes vetting potential influencer partners by evaluating inbound requests and proposals from influencer management partners, facilitating product seeding for quarterly and monthly campaigns, and assisting with creator communications through daily dashboards and social monitoring. Evaluating campaign performance to optimize strategy and reporting to internal partners is also a key aspect of this role. A deep understanding of the brand's business and customer is essential, which involves maintaining a pulse on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Brand Marketing Manager in executing National and Local marketing campaigns as well as day-to-day needs and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Preferred one to two years experience in fast-paced work environment
  • A passion for brand marketing across social, influencer and affiliate programming!
  • Strong written, verbal and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to work independently and cross-functionally with several teams
  • Proactive and self-starter
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
