About the position
As a Part Time Staff Pharmacist at Safeway, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and wellness services. Your role will involve building meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring they receive personalized care tailored to their needs. You will actively engage in disease state management, optimizing medication therapy, and delivering outstanding patient-centered care. This position allows you to make a significant impact on patient health by assisting in the management of both acute and chronic conditions. In addition to direct patient care, you will supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and pharmacy interns, ensuring that operational standards are upheld, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance. You will also be responsible for implementing company initiatives aimed at increasing profitability while maintaining a focus on patient care and community engagement. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)
- Must have an active pharmacy license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing
- Certified Immunizer Preferred
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including dayshift, evenings, holidays, and weekends
