About the position

The Part-Time STEM Teacher/Instructor Assistant at Wize Computing Academy is responsible for engaging students aged 4 to 11 in coding and robotics lessons. This role focuses on project-based learning to enhance STEAM education, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive environment. The instructor will manage classroom dynamics, track student progress, and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a classroom with children ages between 4 yrs to 11 yrs old.
• Engage students in fun and relevant coding & robotics lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs.
• Observe and track students' progress and attendance.
• Reinforce positive student behavior and session rules.
• Maintain a positive relationship with all students, families and staff.
• Communicate with management to discuss member progress, needs, and concerns.

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Willingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlook.
• Deep appreciation for teamwork and drive to be part of a high-level team.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and address varying needs.
• Clear background check is mandatory.

Nice-to-haves
