About the position

The Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI is responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment. This role involves operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Processes customer purchases and performs general cleaning duties.
• Stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
• Provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience.
• Provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, and general issues.
• Participates in taking store inventory counts and monitoring inventory for accuracy.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Stocks shelves and rotates products to ensure freshness.
• Follows merchandising planograms for displays.
• Organizes new inventory and removes empty boxes.
• Operates machinery and follows safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber.

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
