The Part-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ohio Northern University is primarily responsible for the setup and monitoring of the athletic teams' training and conditioning programs, adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA. In this position, the coach will design, implement, conduct, and monitor strength and conditioning programs tailored for various athletic programs. This includes educating student-athletes about nutrition and supplementation, which is vital for their overall health and performance. The coach will also coordinate the rehabilitation of injured athletes, helping them return to their respective sports safely and effectively. Additionally, the Part-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach will assist with scheduling the use of training facilities and will be involved in identifying and purchasing necessary equipment to support the training programs. Maintaining and updating records related to training sessions and athlete progress is also a key responsibility.
