The Part-Time Student Research Aide position at the Center for Health by Design (CHxD) is designed for students currently enrolled at Indiana University. This role supports multiple ongoing research programs within the CHxD, an interdisciplinary research center that aims to accelerate the science and impact of human-centered health behavior interventions in critical areas such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, dementia, and metabolic disease. The center is committed to cultivating a transformative research community that empowers interdisciplinary teams to design interventions that advance health and wellness for all. The center is led by national thought leaders in the field, including founding co-directors Drs. Nicole Werner and Richard Holden, along with a team of faculty and scholars who govern the center strategically and operationally. As a Student Research Aide, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the success of the research initiatives. This includes searching for, retrieving, and updating journal article citations, assisting in the implementation of clinical research studies, and helping to identify and recruit potential research study participants. You will also maintain databases of participant information, record study data, and perform both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Additionally, you will assist in developing communications and strategies for advertising and recruitment, as well as formatting and proofreading research documentation such as CVs, biosketches, papers, and reports. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
