About the position
The Part-Time Student Tutors for Cognitive Skills at Penn State are responsible for assisting students in their coursework under the guidance of Dr. Okoro. This role is designed for current Penn State students who have been appointed to support their peers in developing cognitive skills. The position is part-time, requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week, and is primarily remote.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with cognitive skills courses as appointed by Dr. Okoro.
- Provide tutoring support to enhance students' understanding of course material.
- Facilitate learning through one-on-one or group sessions as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED).
- Current Penn State student approved by Dr. Okoro.
