About the position

The Part-Time Stylist/Sales Associate at Kate Spade New York is responsible for achieving individual sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong product knowledge and the ability to connect with customers, embodying the brand's aesthetic and philosophy. The associate will work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to enhance the selling culture and drive business events in-store. The position also involves operational tasks such as supervising store opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales goals.
  • Develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
  • Ensure exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
  • Develop personal connections with guests through effective selling skills.
  • Partner with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.
  • Initiate business-driving events in-store with management support.
  • Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to customers and the sales team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.
  • Communicate client feedback to management to enhance service and sales.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture.
  • Elevated sense of personal style.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
