As a substitute teacher, you will have the opportunity to positively contribute to your community by sparking a love for learning with your students. You will help solve the teacher shortage crisis in America while enjoying a flexible schedule that allows you to pursue other passions and fit substitute teaching into your life. The working hours are typically from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing a great balance for your day. With Kokua, you will earn a competitive salary of up to $234 per day, with weekly paychecks. Daily positions pay up to $213 per day, while long-term positions can earn you up to $234 per day, depending on your experience and certification. You will also start accruing paid sick days immediately and benefit from a quick hiring process, receiving an offer within one week of applying or less. You can teach close to home by choosing from K-12 schools across the Denver area, and this role can serve as a stepping stone to full-time positions at top-rated schools. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but non-degreed candidates will be considered based on relevant work experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with students.
  • Confidence to manage a classroom of students.
  • Ability to pass state & federal background check.
  • Strong belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world.
