About the position

The Part-Time Team Lead at Vera Bradley is responsible for guiding store associates in executing daily action plans aligned with the company's objectives. This role emphasizes creating a positive customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining brand standards through effective communication and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and communication to store associates.
• Motivate the team to create a positive customer experience.
• Exceed sales goals and build store traffic.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by upholding Vera Bradley's Core Values.
• Assist in planning and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Support store operational duties including inventory and training.
• Serve as a liaison between store associates and leadership to foster a collaborative environment.
• Promote a culture of honesty and awareness of loss prevention.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred; prior management experience preferred.
• Experience in specialty retail strongly preferred.
• Experience with retail POS system is a plus.
• Dependable with open availability and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong desire and ability to serve customers and solve problems.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and promote a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Polished, polite, and professional demeanor.
