About the position

Torticity is seeking a part-time Technical Recruiter to join our People & Culture Team. This role will support the Executive Director of Talent in recruiting efforts for the Technology team and other technical roles. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, ensuring a smooth hiring process while engaging with candidates throughout their journey. This position can be performed locally or remotely and is initially part-time for approximately three months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the internal recruiting team to review job descriptions and discuss hiring needs
• Actively source candidates through online platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards), job fairs, networking, and other channels
• Screen and evaluate technical resumes to assess fit with job requirements
• Conduct initial phone or video interviews to gauge technical competency, cultural fit, and candidate expectations
• Track candidates through the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly
• Review qualified applications with Executive Director, Talent
• Keep candidates engaged and updated throughout the hiring process

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of proven success as a Technology Recruiter
• Understanding of coding languages, software development life cycle, cloud platforms, and technical jargon to better assess candidate qualifications
• Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
• Knowledge of effective hiring practices including networking, use of job boards and social media and cold calling
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
