About the position
The Part-Time Teller at KeyBank serves as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, providing excellent service by assisting with account transactions and addressing client servicing needs. This role emphasizes client engagement, financial wellness conversations, and adherence to compliance and security procedures, all while fostering a strong client experience culture.
Responsibilities
- Embody a strong client experience culture by being present with every client and teammate.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions.
- Proactively identify and resolve client servicing issues, escalating as needed.
- Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and transition clients to a Banker.
- Assist clients in achieving their financial goals through the use of financial wellness tools.
- Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
- Follow compliance, audit, and security procedures, balancing cash drawer within guidelines.
- Review and maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies to stay current on offerings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required).
- Experience in a client service role (required).
- Experience in cash handling (required).
- General understanding of PC with Windows-based applications and calculator (required).
