As a teller at Stillman Bank, you will be at the forefront of customer interaction, providing essential banking services while ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers. This role is vital in maintaining the bank's reputation for excellent customer service and involves performing a variety of deposit transactions and other banking customer services. You will be responsible for greeting customers promptly and professionally, assisting them in preparing necessary documents for transactions, and ensuring accuracy and courtesy in all interactions. Your ability to build relationships and suggest additional products and services will be key to enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this position, you will examine and verify negotiable instruments, process deposits and withdrawals, and issue appropriate receipts. You will also handle cash transactions, including cashing checks and disbursing currency, while maintaining compliance with bank policies. Balancing your cash drawer and assisting with ATM balancing will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will actively look for opportunities to suggest bank products and services that meet customer needs, ensuring that you document and report any customer issues for quality control purposes. This is an on-site position requiring approximately 20-29 hours of work per week, with a Saturday morning rotation. The work environment is typical of an office setting, where you will operate various office equipment and may need to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Your role will require significant hand and finger dexterity due to the nature of cash and coin handling tasks, as well as the ability to frequently view and read computer screens or paper documents.
