About the position

As a Part-Time Teller at the Virtual Branch of Credit Union of America, you will play a crucial role in assisting members with their financial transactions while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies. In this role, you will thoroughly analyze information presented in Teller Enterprise and Episys Quest systems, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will also evaluate documents presented by members for authenticity, adhering to all transaction limits for both cash and checks as outlined by the T.A.P. Center policies. Your interactions will primarily involve routine matters that require effective communication and a courteous demeanor, as you will be providing assistance and information to members and vendors alike. The position demands a professional appearance and manner, as well as punctuality and mental alertness. You will be expected to demonstrate good listening skills and the ability to greet the public in a friendly and tactful manner, ensuring a positive experience for all members. Responsibilities

  • Assist members with their financial transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals.

Requirements

  • One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
  • High school education or GED required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with members and vendors.
  • Punctual and mentally alert with a professional appearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a customer service role within a financial institution.
