About the position

The Part Time Teller at Cornerstone Bank is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while conducting financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This role involves assisting clients with their banking needs, promoting bank products, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to maintaining a positive company image.

Responsibilities

• Portraying a positive company image and engaging in professional and friendly communications with customers
• Processing transactions in person, by mail, telephone, fax, and email
• Assisting clients with account inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
• Performing functions associated with account maintenance including personal and account data changes, address changes, and account closures
• Assisting with balancing vault, ATM, Night drop, and coin machine as assigned
• Assisting with ATM/Debit card ordering and maintenance
• Setting up, closing, and balancing the teller station
• Maintaining knowledge of all bank products, services, policies, and procedures
• Assisting with the opening/closing of the branch office as necessary
• Resolving and following-up on customer complaints and issues
• Completing required BSA and other compliance training as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in a financial institution or retail customer service with exposure to cash
• 2 years prior teller experience is a plus
• Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
• Proficient in the use of 10-key and other office equipment

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
