About the position

Join our team as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) where you will utilize your reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer to transport trash bags from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor at apartment communities. This position offers flexible evening hours, making it ideal for those looking to supplement their income or earn extra money alongside another job. You will enjoy working close to home, with assignments typically within a 10-15 minute drive.

Responsibilities

• Transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor.
• Take required photos (arrival, departure, tracking, non-compliance) using the company's app during service.
• Work flexible evening hours, typically 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday.
• Complete shifts that are 2-4 hours long, starting at either 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer is required.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
• Ability to adapt to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of walking the distance of the property and being exposed to disagreeable odors.
• Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
• Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app.
