About the position

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and energetic professional to contribute to the growth of local small businesses, particularly in the medical field. The role involves assisting in the promotion of services and products through comprehensive marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing and implementing various marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, web-based marketing initiatives, and print media campaigns. This position is hands-on and customer-facing, requiring direct and indirect interaction with clients on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling overflow video editing projects and assisting with file management, organization, and setup for in-house video shoots. Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, as well as graphic design tools like Photoshop and InDesign, is essential. Familiarity with Google Drive for project organization and file management is also required. The role may involve working in both PC and Mac environments, and any additional skills in graphics design, motion titles, or web design/maintenance will be considered a plus. Experience in videography and product photography is advantageous, although the primary focus of this position is on video editing assistance. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to those holding an associate's or college degree in creative fields or marketing. The ability to communicate clearly in English, both in person and over the phone, is crucial. Additionally, above-average computer skills, including proficiency in web applications, email, and Microsoft Office programs, are necessary for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in graphics design, motion titles, or web design/maintenance.
  • Videography or product photography experience.
  • Familiarity with Zoom streaming, live switchers, and remote camera operation.
