About the position

The Part-Time Video Editor at Sinclair Broadcast Group is responsible for editing video content for daily news coverage and special projects. This role requires collaboration with news anchors, reporters, and producers to create engaging video elements for newscasts while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Editing video for daily news coverage and special projects.
• Taking in news feeds from live field crews and various other news organizations.
• Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts.
• Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment.

Requirements

• Associates degree or minimum one (1) year relative experience in the field.
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Avid NewsCutter editing technology is a definite plus.
• Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment.
• Available to work early morning hours under tight deadlines.
