About the position

Established, Emmy®-Award winning documentary production company has an immediate need for a part-time videographer. Business hours are weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, but in video production one might need to start early or stay late depending on what needs to be done. Everything is shot solid-state and edited in HD. Sometimes you'll be shooting with a team, and others you'll be solo. Some jobs will be recorded remotely. We occasionally attend trade shows where you may be expected to record presentations, attend our booth, talk to clients, and help with setup/tear-down.

Responsibilities

• Shoot video content for various projects, both solo and as part of a team.
• Edit video footage using Adobe Premiere to create high-quality final products.
• Record presentations and events at trade shows, including setup and teardown of equipment.
• Interact with clients in a professional manner and manage client expectations.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and transported to various locations.

Requirements

• Have a degree in T-Comm or equivalent professional experience.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in videography.
• Experience editing video with Adobe Premiere.
• Experience shooting with a pro-grade video camera and accessories.
• Experience recording in Zoom and/or OBS.
• Understanding of 3-point lighting techniques.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.

Nice-to-haves

• Good grasp of the English language; knowledge of a secondary language is a plus.
• Ability to work from home and manage time effectively.
• Quick learner and self-managing individual.
• Problem-solving skills.
