The part-time Visual Content Creator position at Penn State University is designed for undergraduate and graduate architecture students to create engaging digital content for the Stuckeman School's marketing and communications efforts. The role involves capturing and editing multimedia content, participating in content strategy discussions, and serving as a student ambassador on social media channels. This position offers a flexible work schedule of up to 12 hours per week, starting at $13 per hour, and aims to enhance the school's online presence while providing students with practical experience in content creation.

Responsibilities

• Capture and create content for digital platforms/social media channels that reflects life at Penn State as a Stuckeman School architecture student.
• Edit high-quality video content.
• Research social/digital content trends that could be leveraged by the school.
• Participate in brainstorming new digital content ideas.
• Seek out potential content collaborators including fellow students, faculty members, researchers, and community members.
• Assist with analyzing content performance.
• Attend and document school and departmental events, as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a second- through fourth-year undergraduate student or second-year or higher graduate-level architecture student at Penn State.
• Passion for architecture and the design disciplines.
• Creative and self-motivated.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to connect Stuckeman School goals and values to the overall content strategy.
• Experience with video, photography, audio, and/or animation.
• Understanding of the current social media landscape.
