About the position
The Part-time Weekend Live Streaming Video Producer will be responsible for managing all aspects of live video and audio production for a dynamic media company. This role involves pre-production, live production, and post-production tasks, requiring a high level of technical knowledge and creativity. The producer will work with various software and platforms to ensure high-quality broadcasts, engage with audiences, and contribute to the overall content strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage live streaming video and audio through OBS and/or Streamyard.
- Handle scene switching, monitor audio levels, and take live calls during broadcasts.
- Manage multiple live chat interfaces and ensure smooth communication with the audience.
- Conduct pre-production and post-production tasks, including audio editing and video composition.
- Collaborate with show hosts and guests to prepare for live shows and ensure all aspects are complete before airing.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to production equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on air and during production.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and effective on-air dialogue.
Requirements
- Experience in live production and audio signal flow.
- Proficiency in audio editing and mixing using Adobe Audition.
- Creative video composition and editing skills using Adobe Premiere.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, live production environment.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work varied hours.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with WordPress and website design using platforms like Wix, Weebly, or Squarespace.
- Understanding of video animation for logos and video openers.
- Knowledge of SEO platforms and social media marketing strategies.
- Creative writing skills.
