About the position
WHIZ KIDS is seeking part-time instructors to have fun teaching groups of preschool, elementary and/or young adult participants. Instructors should be looking for part time work, enjoy working with children and have reliable transportation. Due to the nature of non-credit classes, not all instructors are required to have degrees - just demonstrate expertise in their subject area. Experience working with children is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time
- Develop own curriculum and lessons
- Engage students to think, learn, and play well during each class
- Maintain a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
Requirements
- Enjoy working with children
- Reliable transportation
- Demonstrate expertise in subject area
- Experience working with children is preferred
