This project intends to help Transitions participants and alums move out of poverty by offering leadership development opportunities and enhancing the power of participant voice in Transitions' decision-making bodies. This role will focus on increasing diversity, equity and inclusion and uplifting lived expertise. The member will assist participants in taking increased control of their journey with the goal of participants becoming more confident, trauma-informed and proactive in advocating for themselves and their children. The member will coordinate and strengthen the Participant Advisory Committee, research best practices for participant voice, leadership development, and storytelling, provide trainings, and conduct assessments.
