About the position

The Partner & Alliances FP&A Analyst at Snowflake will support the Alliances Finance leadership by providing financial reporting, insights, and analytics to oversee the financial aspects of the Alliances business. This role involves managing monthly financial close processes, spend management, planning, and compliance, while collaborating with various teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Alliances finance team and collaborate with Sales Finance, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, and the Global Alliances and Sales team.
  • Participate in month-end close processes, financial performance management, financial modeling, forecasting, and ad hoc financial reporting for the Alliances business.
  • Assist in HC financial management and planning, including budget forecasting and reporting with insights to support hiring decisions.
  • Develop and automate Alliances business health metrics to manage business performance effectively.
  • Collaborate with Alliances Finance peers and business partners on financial deliverables to corporate functions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies within the Alliance business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in FP&A with Sales Finance experience.
  • Experience with financial rhythm of business including month-end close management, budgeting, and forecasting in a technology organization.
  • Experience in creating, automating, and reporting on financial and business key performance indicators (KPIs or OKRs).
  • Exceptional financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in CRM, Financial Management, and BI applications.
  • Understanding of the cloud business model and familiarity with cloud and partner KPIs/OKRs.
  • Proficient in G Suite (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply to various organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer service orientation.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or related relevant area is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Sales or Partner finance is a plus.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles and US GAAP is a plus.
