About the position

The Sr Partner Development Manager (PDM) Distribution/Indirect Providers is responsible for enhancing Microsoft's reach and success through distributors and affiliated resellers, particularly in the Swiss SMB market. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a sales-oriented mindset to drive growth and excellence within the partner ecosystem, leveraging the Microsoft Cloud platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead distribution partners in creating compelling offerings across all Microsoft Solution Areas for Swiss SMB customers.
  • Create and execute business plans that align Microsoft’s value with partner business goals.
  • Coach partners to implement their business plans effectively.
  • Develop and execute Go To Market plans in alignment with Microsoft goals, focusing on AI, Security, and Cloud.
  • Facilitate collaboration between partners and Microsoft teams locally and internationally.
  • Monitor and drive partner performance, resolving blockers and accelerating execution.
  • Represent partners in resolving complex escalations and guide internal teams to prioritize partner solutions.

Requirements

  • Several years of IT sales management and/or business development experience with independent channel partners, ideally in an international context.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration, or similar experience.
  • Challenger sales mindset with adaptability.
  • Experience working within a multi-layer sales/distribution ecosystem.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Eager to learn and drive change.
  • Fluent in German.
