About the position

The Partner Development Manager will join the Monetization Product Partnerships team, focusing on business development for Data and Measurement partners. This role is crucial in improving and proving the efficacy of TikTok's advertising platform, driving business growth through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will work closely with both existing partners and new business development initiatives, creating product solutions that enable brands to effectively invest in TikTok ads. The culture of the team reflects that of a small start-up, characterized by entrepreneurial spirit and a forward-thinking mindset. As a Partner Manager, you will engage directly with partners in the data, measurement, and analytics ecosystems, collaborating with various internal stakeholders, including product, strategy, legal, partner activation & enablement, and marketing. This collaboration aims to develop innovative ways for consumers to interact with products, services, and experiences they love. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying new partnerships that align with TikTok's data and measurement needs, managing core operations for business development efforts, and driving product adoption of monetization integrations. You will also project-manage complex integrations with partners, identify scaling opportunities for existing solutions, and define integration paths with strategic partners to enhance TikTok's advertising capabilities. Representing TikTok in external meetings with executives will require the highest level of personal integrity and ethics, ensuring that the company's values are upheld in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new partnerships that fit into overall data and measurement needs.
  • Manage core operations for business development efforts, including annual planning, OKRs, ongoing reporting and contract work, proactively resolving business issues.
  • Drive product and business adoption of monetization product integrations and solutions.
  • Project-manage complex integrations with various partners.
  • Identify opportunities to scale existing solutions for more businesses and creators.
  • Define complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale.
  • Represent TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
  • Experience owning and scaling growth projects in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Experience developing complex integrations with third parties.
  • Incredibly organized and process-oriented.
  • Strategic thinker who enjoys executing and rolling up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment with changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative/analytical experience.
  • Experience working as part of an international team.
  • Strong adtech background.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and regulatory concepts in the ads ecosystem.
