About the position

As a Partner Marketing Manager at Cradlepoint, Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base within the US West and Central regions. This position is designed for a dynamic sales representative who will engage with Small and Medium-sized companies through telephone and internet channels. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales objectives set for your territory. You will be part of a first-class sales team that is committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions to our clients. In this role, you will identify and pursue sales opportunities through various methods, including lead generation, networking, and building strong relationships with potential customers, carriers, and partners. You will adopt the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions sales methodology, adhering to our established sales processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness in your approach. Your ability to make tailored recommendations that align our technology solutions with the business needs of prospective customers will be key to your success. You will manage the sales process through various stages, including qualification, needs analysis, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing. To excel in this position, you will need to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, as well as the competitive landscape within your territory. Establishing and maintaining a clean and healthy sales pipeline will be essential, along with providing accurate forecasts on a quarterly basis to track your progress and success.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales objectives through sales of products and services to new customers
  • Identify sales opportunities through lead generation, follow-up, networking, and building relationships with potential customers, carriers, and partners
  • Adopt Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions sales methodology and adhere to our sales process
  • Make recommendations to prospective customers that align their business needs to our technology solutions and services
  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, and competitive offerings
  • Establish and maintain a clean and healthy pipeline
  • Provide accurate and dependable forecasts on a quarterly basis

Requirements

  • AA (Marketing/Business preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Two (2+) years of experience in a sales role
  • Documented success in achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  • Experience in presenting a sales demonstration to the client
  • Consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers
  • Experience selling to Directors and/or business owners
  • Experience with networks and/or cellular carriers
