About the position

The Partner Marketing Manager at LendingClub plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing partnerships with personal finance websites and brands to attract new personal loan borrowers. This position focuses on nurturing existing relationships and onboarding new strategic partnerships, ensuring that LendingClub remains competitive in the personal loans market. The role involves collaboration across various departments to enhance the borrower experience and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support relationship management, planning, execution, and day-to-day operations for multiple existing personal loans partners.
  • Develop and execute quarterly growth tactics and ensure overall performance and KPIs are in line with expectations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to optimize the end-to-end experience for borrowers referred through the Partner channel.
  • Partner with and influence a cross-functional team to ensure effective execution of new partnerships, managing all stages including onboarding, launch, performance monitoring, and ongoing growth.
  • Develop and provide regular reporting on project status and ensure timely communication at senior level meetings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in partnerships, business development, or relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
