About the position

The Partner Marketing Manager at Canonical is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with global partners across various technology sectors, including public cloud, silicon, and hardware vendors. This role emphasizes the importance of collaboration, ownership of marketing campaigns, and continuous improvement in partner programs to drive successful marketing activities and enhance Canonical's partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build joint go-to-market plans with partners, from messaging to pipeline generation
  • Create and deliver integrated campaigns, product launches, webinar series, industry announcements and core content in collaboration with partners
  • Package all of Canonical's product offerings and educational material creatively
  • Continue to grow Canonical's partner ecosystem by delivering partner value
  • Develop Canonical's partner activities to scale partner programs

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B marketing and working with strategic corporate partners to develop co-marketing initiatives
  • Experience in enterprise software, SaaS or silicon preferred
  • Strong customer/partner relationship management skills
  • Proven analytical skills to assess opportunities and make decisions on ROI/advantages of programs & investments
  • Track record of delivering strong results and innovation
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to think big and take on risk
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Love for diverse work assignments and the opportunity to try new approaches
