About the position

The Partner Marketing Manager at Splunk will play a pivotal role in enhancing the partner ecosystem, focusing on creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns that align with partner priorities. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects and collaborate closely with various teams to drive partner engagement and program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Understand partner priorities and translate them into effective campaign plans.
  • Build and activate partner campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with marketing teams at partner sites and serve as the point of contact for strategic partners' marketing engagement in AMER.
  • Act as a partner evangelist to influence the value delivered to Splunk and its customers through partners.
  • Lead MDF budget tracking and utilization in partnership with field marketing and partner managers to ensure alignment with AMER business priorities.
  • Support AMER partner enablement motions to grow the partner ecosystem in collaboration with the AMER partner team.
  • Provide monthly roll-ups of key metrics, ROI, and program effectiveness of strategic partner campaigns to assess return on investment and prioritize resources.
  • Work with demand generation teams to engage partners in demand-generating activities and ensure compelling digital marketing materials are available.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partner marketing and communication.
  • Strong skills in marketing strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to envision, lead, and execute multi-dimensional AMER partner marketing plans.
  • Confidence in a dynamic, high-pressure, and high-visibility role.
  • Experience in planning, measuring, and tweaking GTM tactics for campaign success.
  • Experience working with VAR, MSP, and Distribution partners is advantageous.
  • Understanding and management of MDF and Contra funding.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Experience engaging with partners and colleagues in an international workspace.
  • Ability to influence and work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, including field marketing, digital marketing, and experience events.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of building and launching programs within budget.
