About the position

SmithRx is seeking a Partner Operations Analyst to join our Customer Success team, focusing on supporting core Plan Operations functions to ensure the high quality of our product. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Partner Relationship Manager to manage daily operations, addressing issues, projects, and opportunities that arise with our Third Party Administrator partners. Your responsibilities will include leading audits and reconciliation efforts for both internal and external partners, as well as creating ad hoc queries and reports to facilitate issue resolution and meet partner needs. You will also maintain platform configurations essential for ongoing operations and communicate project statuses, escalating issues to leadership when necessary. As a Partner Operations Analyst, you will drive changes aimed at improving workflow efficiency and participate in documenting processes and workflows. You will serve as a mentor for new team members and provide training on new processes. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with member support and customer success teams, and engage cross-functionally on system enhancements for workflow automation. You will become the subject matter expert on plan design configuration details, understanding account structures, eligibility, and accumulator requirements. Additionally, you will validate system configurations for accuracy by monitoring inbound files from external partners and provide troubleshooting support for our claims adjudication processes, including eligibility, accumulators, and reporting. Supporting new partner integrations and client implementations will also be part of your responsibilities, as you partner closely with internal teams to resolve key issues during onboarding and account maintenance. You will interface with technical resources from partners to surface issues and track outstanding work requests.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partner Relationship Manager to support daily operations including issues, projects, and opportunities for Third Party Administrator partners.
  • Lead audits and reconciliation efforts for both internal and external partners.
  • Create ad hoc queries and reports to support issue resolution and partner needs.
  • Maintain platform configurations necessary for ongoing operations.
  • Communicate project status and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.
  • Drive changes to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in process and workflow documentation.
  • Serve as a mentor for new team members and a trainer for new processes.
  • Collaborate and provide support for member support and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on system enhancements for workflow automation.
  • Become the subject matter expert for plan design configuration details.

  • Monitor ongoing Engineering operations and provide troubleshooting support for claims adjudication processes including eligibility, accumulators, and reporting.
  • Support new partner integrations and client implementations.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to support all processes during onboarding and maintenance of accounts.
  • Interface with technical resources of partners to surface issues and track outstanding work requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience developing reporting or analytics in the healthcare and/or pharmacy space.
  • Robust analytical skills; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Micros, Pivot table, V lookup, H Lookup etc.).
  • Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools required.
  • Bonus points for experience with Looker, Datadog, Jira, Tableau, and/or Salesforce.
  • Familiar with basic SQL queries.
  • Strong communication skills via face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence.
  • Self-starter mentality: ability to work independently to manage time and assigned partners, make informed decisions, find creative approaches to challenges, and deliver on commitments.
