About the position

The Partner Operations Manager at Optiv is a remote role focused on supporting Sales and Operations in enhancing Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) lifecycle. This position is dedicated to ensuring customers maximize their Cisco investments, driving adoption and growth through product knowledge, and facilitating a seamless customer journey. The role involves managing Enterprise Agreements, tracking compliance, and acting as a liaison between various teams to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Keep up with Customer Experience Best Practices and ensure compliance with Optiv standards.
  • Manage Enterprise Agreements by tracking for overages, performing client check-ins, and managing true-ups.
  • Maintain necessary Cisco certifications and assist in identifying additional certification candidates.
  • Monitor and communicate notifications regarding Cisco products, software, and advisories.
  • Attend Cisco Partner Trainings and recruit additional internal attendees as needed.
  • Meet regularly with Cisco to strategize and address operational issues.
  • Act as an opportunity advisor to field sales regarding Cisco pricing programs and requirements.
  • Recommend suitable pricing strategies to field Account Managers based on historical data.
  • Identify areas for customer expansion or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide timely and accurate price quoting support to the field sales organization.
  • Resolve quoting, order, and invoicing issues and errors.
  • Communicate global supply chain updates to Sales and Operations as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate new partner offerings and business procedures to the field sales team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Authorized support programs and offerings.
  • Present knowledge of Enterprise Agreements to help remove technical barriers and accelerate adoption.
  • Create adoption plans for Enterprise Agreement customers to enhance their self-sufficiency.
  • Guide customers through the renewal journey, ensuring a consistent experience.
  • Perform ongoing revenue risk assessments to retain Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and meet KPIs.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Two or more years of experience in a Business-to-Business Sales/Client Services role.
  • Two years of experience in the technical or information technologies industry preferred.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Prior experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software is required; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a sales partnership setting with incoming requests.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external partners/clients.
  • Superior organizational skills and functional arithmetic skills.
