About the position

The Partner Product Innovation and Development Manager at BOA Technology is responsible for leading the development of snow, cycling, and workwear helmets that implement the BOA Fit System. This role also involves orchestrating the development of next-generation helmet fit and performance solutions, ensuring that the products meet the needs of Brand Partners and maintain high standards of performance and durability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of snow, cycling, and workwear helmets implementing the BOA Fit System.
  • Orchestrate the development of the next-generation BOA helmet fit solution.
  • Provide detailed consultation on design guidelines to optimize fit, performance, and durability.
  • Collaborate with Brand Partners to implement the helmet fit system.
  • Review all product samples and provide feedback to the PPID team and Brand Partners.
  • Give final approval to Brand Partners on all products within your team's segments.
  • Maintain consistent communication with PPID leadership regarding team alignment with Global PPID strategy.
  • Become an expert in the BOA product offering and installation requirements.
  • Conduct training for Brand Partners or their factories on BOA's products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in product development, preferably in helmet development or technology.
  • College degree in engineering, product development, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to learn BOA's products and components quickly.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a desire to mentor others.
  • Experience managing projects with limited standardization and changing variables.
  • Organized project management skills to maintain fast pace and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse groups globally.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to use graphic design software, preferably in the Adobe suite.
  • Knowledge of CAD Software, specifically OnShape and SolidWorks.
