About the position

New York Life is seeking a Partner (Recruiter/Manager) to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time position is designed for qualified leaders who can effectively embrace, contribute to, and support the field offices' plans to recruit, select, train, and develop financial professionals. The goal is to enhance the office's revenues and productivity results year after year. As a Partner, you will leverage your proven track record of success within the industry, ideally as a 2nd Line Manager or Personal Producer, to build a strong team of sales professionals. You will utilize various recruiting methods, including personal warm markets, cold sources, social media, job boards, recruiting events, networking events, referrals, and third-party recruiting vendors. In this role, you will be responsible for training and developing both existing and future financial professionals on the company's selling process and product portfolio. You will monitor and measure performance to increase productivity, retention, and overall success. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant college degree and be fully licensed with Series 7 and 24, or have the ability to obtain these licenses within six months of starting the role. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success within the industry as a 2nd Line Manager or Personal Producer.
  • Experience recruiting a team of sales professionals utilizing various sources including social media and networking events.
  • Experience with sales training and employee development.
  • Fully licensed with Series 7 and 24, or ability to obtain these licenses within 6 months.
  • Relevant college degree.
