About the position

New York Life is seeking a Partner to join our team, focusing on the recruitment, training, and development of financial professionals. This role is pivotal in supporting the field offices' plans to enhance their revenue and productivity year after year. As a Partner, you will leverage your proven track record in the industry, ideally as a 2nd Line Manager or Personal Producer, to build and lead a team of sales professionals. Your responsibilities will include utilizing personal warm markets and cold sources, such as social media, job boards, and networking events, to recruit top talent. You will also be responsible for conducting sales training and employee development to ensure that both new and existing financial professionals are well-equipped to succeed in their roles. In this position, you will actively select and recruit both new and experienced financial professionals, guiding them through the company's selling process and product portfolio. Monitoring and measuring performance will be essential to increase productivity, retention, and overall success within the team. Responsibilities

  • Select and recruit new and experienced financial professionals to the company.
  • Train and develop both existing and future financial professionals on the company's selling process and product portfolio.
  • Monitor and measure performance to increase productivity, retention, and overall success.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success within the industry as a 2nd Line Manager or Personal Producer.
  • Experience recruiting a team of sales professionals utilizing personal warm markets and cold sources.
  • Experience with sales training and employee development.
  • Fully licensed Series 7 and 24 (or the ability to obtain these licenses within 6 months in the role).
  • Relevant college degree.
