The Partner Relationship Manager at the St. Louis Area Foodbank (SLAFB) plays a crucial role in advancing the organization's vision of achieving nutritional security across Missouri and Illinois. This position requires a forward-thinking and collaborative individual who understands the importance of building authentic connections with partners to effectively address community needs. The Manager will lead a team of Partner Relationship Coordinators, representing the Foodbank throughout the region and assisting communities in understanding nutrition insecurity and its root causes. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of partner capacity-building efforts, identifying trends, and exploring opportunities for collaboration to best meet community needs. In this capacity, the Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and supporting new partners across a 26-county service area. Key objectives include developing and overseeing a capacity-building program that expands the network of partners, assisting with outreach to specialized populations such as seniors and school markets, and collaborating with the Programs team to identify communities in need of increased capacity. The Manager will also field inquiries from community stakeholders, follow established processes for vetting and onboarding partners, and work closely with the Programs and Quality Assurance teams to develop and implement training and tools for capacity building. The Partner Relationship Manager will also provide leadership and coaching to the Partner Relationship Coordinators, ensuring they have the support needed to achieve their goals. Responsibilities include researching and onboarding new partners, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines, developing documentation related to partnerships, and collaborating with various teams to foster peer-to-peer learning and collaboration. The Manager will represent the Foodbank at public speaking events, engage with community influencers, and facilitate connections across departments to create holistic partnerships aimed at ending hunger. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the activities of volunteers, interns, and AmeriCorps members, and supporting the Disaster Response Team as needed.
