About the position

The Partner Success Manager at Sophia is a results-oriented role focused on building and expanding relationships with employer and university partners. This position is responsible for managing partnerships, supporting retention and growth, and collaborating with the Sales team on outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will proactively seek opportunities to provide value through data and insights, ensuring partners achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships directly with university and business accounts to drive engagement.
  • Articulate Sophia's value proposition effectively to influence decision makers and secure business.
  • Partner with leadership teams across client organizations to plan and execute communication strategies and engagement events.
  • Coordinate and execute all client-facing and employee-facing outreach events including trade shows, conferences, and presentations.
  • Proactively present growth opportunities that align with the partner's strategic mission.
  • Work with marketing, creative, and product teams to support strategic needs.
  • Monitor performance, delivery, and pacing for all active campaigns and present data to internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate and execute all client-facing and employee-facing communications including email campaigns and social media.
  • Utilize data to provide value and drive strategic conversations with accounts.
  • Develop and manage a network of contacts and referral sources.
  • Assess client needs and provide feedback to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with the larger Activation Team to ensure strategic alignment and adoption of best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in account management, business development, corporate outreach, and lead generation, preferably in the education industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving quotas and delivering against targets.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and strong communication abilities at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to analyze and present data clearly and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
