About the position

The Partnership Development Consultant will support the Resource Mobilization Division (REM) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in enhancing partnerships and outreach strategies. This role involves developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies for climate and biodiversity finance, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, and expanding the IDB Group's partner base. The consultant will provide technical and operational support to the Division Chief and ensure alignment with the IDB Group's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement partnerships and resource mobilization strategies for climate and biodiversity finance.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary working groups to establish new partnerships.
• Strengthen strategic alliances with key stakeholders based on systematic analysis.
• Expand the partner base by developing outreach strategies for new segments.
• Support technical teams in managing partner/donor relationships during execution phases.
• Enhance mobilization efforts by engaging with companies, foundations, and NGOs.
• Produce and present reports on outreach and stakeholder management efforts.
• Support the production of high-level events and seminars.
• Contribute to shaping the IDB Group's resource mobilization strategy.

Requirements

• A minimum master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, communication, international development, or related fields.
• At least four years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus.
