Founded in 1988, CLI is a national 501c3 organization dedicated to ensuring that all children achieve reading success by the end of third grade. The organization accomplishes this through job-embedded coaching, professional development, and providing essential resources to educators and students. In this role, the manager will oversee a team of literacy coaches, manage relationships with school and district partners, and lead instructional reviews to identify needs and develop action plans. The manager will also facilitate professional development for educators, ensuring that the coaching provided is effective and aligned with CLI's mission. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, particularly in schools serving predominantly Black and Latinx children, and will be skilled in adult learning and development. This position is not just about managing teams; it is about fostering a culture of feedback, collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve the best outcomes for students and educators alike.
