About The Position

As a Partnership Marketing Associate at PayPal, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the PayPal Honey platform, which offers shoppers a better way to buy. With over 20 million shoppers globally, PayPal Honey provides instant access to exclusive savings, deals, rewards, and discovery, all powered by the collective knowledge of Honey's community of online shoppers. Your primary responsibility will be to help affiliate merchants maximize their revenue through the PayPal Honey platform, ensuring that they meet their growth goals while simultaneously adding value to the shopping experience for our loyal user base. In this dynamic position, you will be tasked with developing, managing, and optimizing affiliate marketing programs aimed at driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative team at Honey that is dedicated to enhancing merchant interactions at every level. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative, proactively seek solutions, and execute strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Your role will involve collaborating cross-functionally with various teams, including Marketing/Creative, Engineering, and Product, to ensure that marketing initiatives are effectively integrated. You will lead monthly and quarterly calls with merchants, independently recommend products and optimization strategies based on their specific situations, and master the concepts and vocabulary of the affiliate industry. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new affiliate partners, negotiating terms and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships, and addressing client objections with well-developed responses. You will also compile notes and action items from calls, emails, and meetings, ensuring thorough follow-up and logging all edits and updates through the PayPal Honey CRM. Regular reporting and presentation preparation on affiliate program performance will be part of your duties, highlighting key metrics and insights for stakeholders. Using data to identify performance optimization opportunities will be essential, as will auditing and proactively identifying merchant performance issues and escalating them to the appropriate teams as needed. Attendance at conferences, in-person merchant meetings, and networking roadshows will also be part of your responsibilities.
