The Parts Department - Assistant Manager at Jim Winter Auto Group is responsible for overseeing the parts inventory, ensuring efficient operations, and leading the counter staff. Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable counter staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate staffing and training.
  • Assist with logistics and transportation issues.
  • Manage warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory obsolescence.
  • Act as the lead resource for body shop parts acquisition and cost management.
  • Attend daily body shop production meetings and provide parts input.
  • Locate routine and hard-to-find parts efficiently to balance quick customer turnaround and gross margin maximization.
  • Maintain warehouse efficiency and minimize obsolescence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse management or collision estimating experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical reading and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and operate computer parts catalogs.
  • Positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to serve and improve.
  • Ability to collaborate with others effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
