About the position

The Parts Clerk is responsible for performing parts inventory as scheduled, ordering parts as needed, and completing related paperwork and computer entry. This role involves picking up parts from vendors using a company vehicle and maintaining an accurate parts count. The Parts Clerk will also be responsible for keying and reviewing all invoices and repair orders. An effective working relationship with management, mechanics, vendors, and the Corporate Fleet Services department is essential. Regular attendance is required, and the job may involve performing additional duties as assigned based on operational, safety, and other needs. Employees are expected to be able to perform all such duties and tasks as required. Qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. Experience in inventory/parts and/or trucking is preferred. The candidate must possess a valid Driver's license and demonstrate good computer/keying skills, math skills, and organizational skills. International parts experience is preferred, and the candidate must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs or more if required by the essential functions of the job. Compliance with all company policies, rules, procedures, and the Code of Conduct is mandatory. The ability to interact well with others, work independently or in a team setting, and manage tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities is crucial. The candidate must also be able to read, interpret, and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level, including the ability to meet deadlines. A pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and a criminal history background check are required. Authorization to work in the United States is also necessary.

Requirements
