About the position

As a Parts Counter Representative at Stoops Freightliner, you will play a crucial role in assisting both internal and external customers with their trucking needs. This position is designed for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the company. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in our retail parts business, ensuring that customers receive the best possible solutions for their requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting customers and assisting them in selecting the right parts for their needs. You will answer questions, provide price quotes, and inform customers about companion part requirements and specials, both in-person and over the phone. Keeping customers informed about the status of special orders and back-orders is essential, as is the ability to receive, locate, bill, and fulfill orders efficiently. You will also handle customer returns and ensure that all transactions are processed smoothly. In addition to retail customer service, you will support our Service department by assisting mechanics in acquiring necessary parts. This involves locating and securing parts from various vendors for shop jobs, as well as controlling and maintaining inventory levels. Your role will be dynamic, with various duties assigned as needed, making it a perfect fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.

Responsibilities
