About the position
The Parts Counter Salesperson at Woodhouse Auto Family plays a vital role in assisting customers with their automotive parts needs. This full-time position involves providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and maintaining extensive product knowledge to support clients effectively. The role is essential in ensuring that customers receive the right parts in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Assist all customers (retail, wholesale, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and ensure exposure to the full product line.
- Answer phone calls within the first three rings, providing price quotes and other information.
- Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are accurate and pricing aligns with the estimate.
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock.
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.
- Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Sales experience in a dealership environment is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.

- Experience in Dealership Parts Counter Sales is a plus.
